Jared R. Jackson, MD

Jared R. Jackson, M.D. is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in cataracts, glaucoma, and ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery. He provides medical and surgical eye care for cataracts and glaucoma, offering advanced technology and standard cataract surgery, premium intraocular lens implantation, and a variety of minimally invasive glaucoma surgeries (MIGS). He is also fellowship trained to diagnose and treat conditions affecting the eyelids, lacrimal system (tear ducts), and orbit (eye socket).

A native of Utah, Dr. Jackson graduated summa cum laude from Brigham Young University before earning his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine, where he was elected a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He completed an internship at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital prior to coming to the Dean A. McGee Eye Institute and the University of Oklahoma for residency in ophthalmology and fellowship in oculoplastic surgery. As a resident, he received the Dr. and Mrs. T. E. Acers Resident Honor Award and served as chief resident. As a fellow, he provided clinical instruction in the Dean A. McGee oculoplastics and resident clinics and worked as a surgical instructor for cataract surgery for residents at the Oklahoma City Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), receiving the Dr. Annie Moreau Fellow Teaching Award.

Dr. Jackson has performed thousands of procedures and LOVES his job! Outside of work, he enjoys sports and spending quality time with his wife and six children. He is active in church and currently serves as a volunteer pastor in his congregation. He speaks Japanese and loves to practice any chance he gets.

Irina Daniel, OD, FAAO

Irina Daniel, OD, FAAO is a residency trained medical optometrist that has received advanced clinical training in the management of ocular disease and refractive surgery, as well as providing perioperative care. Dr. Daniel is certified to perform minor surgical and laser procedures in the anterior segment of the eye. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry and a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.

Dr. Irina Daniel grew up in Dallas, Texas where she graduated from The University of Texas at Dallas with a double degree in biology and business administration. She then went on to The University of Houston where she completed her Doctorate of Optometry degree. During her time at The University of Houston, she earned Letters of Clinical Excellence for her exemplary clinical care. She completed her external clinical rotations at Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry and at the Community Eye Clinic of Fort Worth, where she developed her passion for managing ocular disease.

Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, cooking and staying active. Dr.Daniel and her husband, Dr.Bradley Daniel also enjoy spending time with their two beagles and black cat.

Austin LaGrow, MD

Dr. Austin LaGrow is a comprehensive ophthalmologist dedicated to serving the Oklahoma community. Born and raised in Oklahoma, he completed his undergraduate studies at Oklahoma Christian University before earning his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Humanism honor societies. Dr. LaGrow then went on to complete his Ophthalmology training at the Dean McGee Eye Institute.

Offering a wide range of eye care services, Dr. LaGrow specializes in cataract and glaucoma, eyelid procedures, and comprehensive ophthalmic care. He is known for his compassionate approach, combining advanced techniques with personalized care to ensure optimal outcomes for his patients.

Outside of work, Dr. LaGrow enjoys spending time with his wife, Kelsey, and their daughter. His hobbies include restoring and driving his grandfather’s 1926 Ford Model T and playing golf.

Thomas Wolf, MD

Thomas C. Wolf M.D. is a board certified Ophthalmologist and fellowship trained Cornea Specialist. Dr. Thomas Wolf attended undergraduate school at Oklahoma State University in the ’70’s. He starred as an offensive lineman and received several awards for his performance. Instead of moving on to the NFL, he attended medical school at the University of Oklahoma in 1980.

After graduating medical school, he specialized in cornea and refractive surgery with more than ten years experience in Lasik surgery. He was named one of the top cornea specialists in the nation. He has since retired from surgery, but still provides excellent primary vision care. He has worked on several research studies over the years as principal and co-investigator and has been published in numerous journals during his career. Dr. Wolf has spoken at over 50 lectures across the country.

In 1985, Dr. Wolf opened his first practice before joining the team at Dean A. McGee Eye Institute in 1990. In 2001, he opened Oklahoma Eye Care Associates in Midwest City. Later the same year he added his Dr. Thomas Wolf and Associates Edmond location. In 2003, Dr. Wolf’s practice expanded into South Oklahoma City then continued to expand to Mustang and Yukon. In January 2021 Dr. Wolf sold his private practice Oklahoma Eye Care Midwest City office to Eye Care Specialist of Oklahoma and in August 2025 sold the remaining locations Edmond, Yukon and Mustang from Dr. Thomas Wolf and Associates private practice to Eye Care Specialists of Oklahoma. While Dr. Wolf owned his private practice and volunteered his services to several programs including City Rescue Mission, Ministry of Jesus, Reemerge, Open Arms, Skyline, Good Shepherd and Crossing Community.

Michael Curtis, OD

Dr. Michael Curtis was born and raised in Lawton OK where he received his Bachelor of Science at Cameron University before attending the University of Missouri St Louis College of Optometry. While residing in St Louis, he studied with several different specialty groups before graduating and practicing in Northeast Arkansas in 2012 with a well established medical eye group, providing pre and post operative lasik and cataract care, comprehensive medical eye exams and treatment of ocular disease. Dr. Curtis moved back home to Lawton, OK in 2018 to be near his family and is currently licensed in Oklahoma as an optometric physician. He served as clinical director in a Lawton medically oriented practice for 7 years where he worked closely and got to know Dr Jared Jackson and Dr Austin LaGrow. He has since decided to join our practice in January 2026 and resides in Piedmont with his wife Ashley and son Dylan. Dr. Curtis enjoys bird and big game hunting as well as fishing in his spare time.
