Jared R. Jackson, MD
Jared R. Jackson, M.D. is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery and cataract surgery. He is fellowship trained to diagnose and treat conditions affecting the eyelids, lacrimal system (tear ducts), and orbit (eye socket). He also provides medical and surgical eye care for cataract and glaucoma, offering advanced technology for standard as well as laser-assisted cataract surgery, premium intraocular lens implantation, and a variety of micro-invasive glaucoma procedures (MIGS).
A native of Utah, Dr. Jackson graduated summa cum laude from Brigham Young University before earning his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine, where he was elected a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He completed internship at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital prior to coming to the Dean A. McGee Eye Institute and the University of Oklahoma for residency in ophthalmology. As a resident, he received the Dr. and Mrs. T. E. Acers Resident Honor Award and served as chief resident.
After residency, Dr. Jackson was invited to continue at Dean McGee as a fellow in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive (oculoplastic) surgery. As a fellow, he provided clinical instruction in the Dean A. McGee oculoplastics and resident clinics and worked as a surgical instructor for cataract surgery for residents at the Oklahoma City Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), receiving the Dr. Annie Moreau Fellow Teaching Award.
Dr. Jackson has performed thousands of procedures and remains active in teaching surgical techniques to residents at the Oklahoma City VAMC.

In addition to serving as Chief Surgeon for Eye Care Specialists of Oklahoma, Dr. Jackson is affiliated with the Oklahoma City VAMC, OU Medical Center and Children’s Hospital, McGee Eye Surgery Center, Cataract Institute of Oklahoma, Oklahoma Eye Institute, and Physicians Surgical Center.

Personal
Dr. Jackson enjoys sports and spending time with his wife and four energetic sons, ages 10 to 2 years old. He is active in church and currently teaches Sunday School to the 9 to 11 year olds in his congregation. He speaks Japanese and loves to practice any chance he gets.
Irina Daniel, OD, FAAO
Irina Daniel, OD, FAAO is a residency trained medical optometrist that has received advanced clinical training in the management of ocular disease and refractive surgery, as well as providing perioperative care. Dr. Daniel is certified to perform minor surgical and laser procedures in the anterior segment of the eye. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry and a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.
Dr. Irina Daniel grew up in Dallas, Texas where she graduated from The University of Texas at Dallas with a double degree in biology and business administration. She then went on to The University of Houston where she completed her Doctorate of Optometry degree. During her time at The University of Houston, she earned Letters of Clinical Excellence for her exemplary clinical care. She completed her external clinical rotations at Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry and at the Community Eye Clinic of Fort Worth, where she developed her passion for managing ocular disease.
Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, cooking and staying active. Dr.Daniel and her husband, Dr.Bradley Daniel also enjoy spending time with their two beagles and black cat.
